Ben Bankston ("we", "our", or "us") built rembix ("App") as a commercial application intended for individual use. This Privacy Policy is intended to inform users ("you") about how we collect, use, and protect your information.
This App does not collect personal data from your device. All information is stored locally and never transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
The App does not require an account, login, or personal identification to use. All receipt data, including photos, text entries, and notes, remain solely on your device. We do not collect or store this information.

The App uses Apple’s Vision framework for text recognition. This is done entirely on-device, and no data is transmitted to Apple or any other third party.
All data remains on your device. The App does not automatically back up, sync, or transmit your information.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and your data. We recommend setting up a passcode, biometric lock, and device-level encryption to protect your information.
If your device supports iCloud Backup and it is enabled, your app data may be included in those backups. However, we do not control or access this feature.
We do not encrypt stored data inside the app. Users should exercise caution when storing sensitive information.
The App allows you to export data in CSV or PDF format using iOS’s native share system. These files may contain personal or financial information. You are solely responsible for managing and sharing exported files.
We are not responsible for any unauthorized access, loss, or misuse of exported data once it leaves your device.
The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us and we will assist in deleting it.
Because no personal data is collected or stored by us, there is nothing to request, delete, or collect from our side. You retain full control over your data through your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App or alongside App Store updates. Continued use of the App after any changes implies acceptance of the revised policy.
